How Freelancing has Evolved Over Time

At the start of this year, Upwork and the Freelancer’s Union released a study on the state of freelancing in the United States that shows just how much the autonomous workforce has changed over time. There still appears to be a stigma against freelancing as a career choice, but the study shows that the trepidation is unwarranted; more people are choosing to freelance because they realize that it gives them the opportunity to make more money while pursuing a more balanced lifestyle.
